Mobile Stage Rental Agreement (Lease)
This is a an agreement between the Kiwanis of the Valleys ( referred to herein as “Lessor”) and
(referred to herein as “Lessee”.
The Lessor agrees to deliver, set up, take down and remove a mobile stage on the date, time and at the location specified in this agreement.
The Lessor agrees to deliver and remove the stage within two hours of the time specified in this agreement.
There is a $1,000 surety and damage deposit required of the Lessee upon execution of this agreement. Deposit checks will be immediately negotiated.
The Lessor and Lessee will inspect the stage after set up and note any existing damages or defects. The Lessee accepts full responsibility for the security of the stage during the entire period it is on-site. The deposit will be returned in full within 10 days of the event if no loss or damage (excluding normal wear and tear) is incurred during the rental period. If there is damage or loss, the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from the deposit. Any remaining balance will then be returned to the Lessee, however, if the cost of loss or repair exceeds the amount of the deposit, the Lessee is responsible for the full cost of all repairs or replacement.
Cancellations and alterations in duration of the rental must be made by the Lessee a minimum of 30 days prior to delivery. Cancellations prior to that time will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations 15-30 days prior to the event will forfeit 50% of the deposit. Cancellations less than 15 days prior to the event forfeit the full deposit.
The Lessee is responsible for full payment of the rental fee prior to, but in no event later than, the time of delivery of the stage. Payment is to be made by cashier’s check, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon by Lessor.
Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Kiwanis of the Valleys, Kiwanis District 43, Cal-Nev-Ha Division, Kiwanis International and all its members from any and all injury and damage claims resulting from the use of the stage.

Lessee agrees to all terms and conditions stated herein. Signatory is either a duly recognized agent of the Lessee with authority to obligate Lessee to all terms of this agreement, or personally accepts such responsibility.

Upon receipt of the contract and deposit check, the contract will be signed by the Lessor and a copy returned to the Lessee.
